1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function, remember preferences, or gather usage information. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as locally stored browser data, that serve an equivalent purpose.

2. Cookies and Local Storage We Use

EdarIndex does not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind. The only storage mechanisms in use are:

• Strictly Necessary: technical, session-level mechanisms required for basic site navigation and for secure routing to the client portal. These cannot be switched off without affecting core site function.
• Functional (local storage): a single browser local-storage flag used only to remember that you have acknowledged this cookie notice, so it is not shown again on repeat visits. This value never leaves your browser and is not used for tracking.

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and equivalent international rules, cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you have requested are exempt from prior consent requirements. We nonetheless display a short notice describing our cookie use for transparency.

3. Third-Party Requests

Using this website causes your browser to make a small number of requests to third-party infrastructure that we do not control:

• Google Fonts: page typefaces are served from Google's font infrastructure (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font file transmits your IP address to Google for the duration of that request. Google's own privacy policy governs this processing.
• Formspree: if you submit our contact form, the fields you enter are transmitted to and processed by Formspree, our form-handling provider, in order to deliver your enquiry to us.
• Softr (Client Portal): the "Client Login" link takes you to a separate portal hosted on Softr's infrastructure, which operates under its own cookie and privacy practices once you arrive there.

4. How to Control Cookies

Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies and site data through their settings menu. Because this website relies only on strictly necessary mechanisms and a single functional local-storage flag, blocking cookies entirely will, at most, cause the cookie notice to reappear on each visit; it will not prevent you from using the website. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions specific to your browser.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent before those cookies are set. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date below.
